Passport days are coming: November 15

One of the great marketing promotions for American Viticulture Areas (AVAs) is to have a group tasting day. A group tasting day is one day a year, quarter or month when all wineries, large or small, within an AVA are open to the public. Wine lovers will then flock to the area and try all the new and small producers in search of the next great wine. It is for this precise reason that Left Bend will now be open once a quarter for our followers and lurking oenophiles to try our wine.

On November 15, Left Bend will participate in its first Santa Cruz Mountains Passport tasting. Left Bend has partnered with Stilettos Wine Bar in Saratoga to pour our wine for Passport tasting days. Since we do not have our own tasting room, this allows Passport holders to taste and purchase our wine and visit 3 other SCMWA tasting rooms within walking distance in downtown Saratoga. Best of all, this tasting is open to all visitors, not only passport holders. Passports will be available for purchase.

Come by and try some wine. $10 or a current passport will provide you a taste of Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and who knows what else. Life is short so don’t sit at home. Get a Passport and travel the streets of Saratoga and beyond…
